The American Dream Homeownership Foundation (ADHF) is a Florida-based nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to homeownership through targeted down-payment assistance grants. Founded by real estate attorney Charles Esposito and governed by a board of housing professionals, ADHF responds to the urgent need for financial support among qualified homebuyers who are increasingly priced out of the market due to Florida’s rising housing costs.

Our mission is to help individuals and families overcome one of the most significant barriers to homeownership: the ability to afford a down payment. While many Floridians are creditworthy and pre-approved for mortgages, they fall short of the final funds needed to close — often by as little as $5,000. ADHF bridges this gap.
